Pardon my ignorance, but with the cases about that read, “Court grants Defendant’s motion to dismiss the Complaint.” Does this mean the State won or the petitioner? If it is the case that the state won are there any cases that are available to read that the petitioner won? Thanks in advance.
A few years back, I was convicted of 3 counts of exposing a child to harmful material (originally 10 counts of possession of cp, 7 dismissed and 3 converted to harmful material) and am trying yo get my Irish wife home. Attorneys are saying 1-3% success rate with the AWA waiver, and costing $10-15k either way. This is definitely a violation of rights as the mission statement says. The AWA is protect children… how is a legally married spouse who is an adult considered a child?! The AWA should have no bearing on spousal immigration. Are there any updates on getting this ridiculous spouse blocking rule amended? Thanks!
